Eerie Acres isn't just a haunt. It's a night out. Food trucks, local beer and wine, makers' stands and a bonfire you can see from the road. You can come for the atmosphere and never set foot in the haunt. (Plenty do. We pretend not to judge.)

The Midway

Eerie Acres is more than the haunt. It's a night out. Every open night the Midway hosts a rotating lineup of local food trucks (burgers, pierogies, tacos, fair food, coffee) and makers' stands, plus a DJ, dancers or live entertainment on special nights. The lineup changes weekly; the schedule page lists who's on the farm each night.

Too scared for the haunt? Genuinely fine. Plenty of guests come just to eat by the bonfire and people-watch the terrified. Kids can hang out on the Midway with one parent while the rest of the group tours the haunt.

The Grain Bin Beer Garden

Only a farm haunt can serve you a drink out of a grain bin. It sits beside the bonfire with two local hosts behind it every night we are open: Helltown Brewing on the drafts and Creekside Cellars Winery on the wine, both at fair prices, so the round does not have to be beer for everybody.

House rules are simple: outside alcohol never comes onto the property, IDs get checked, and anyone who shows up intoxicated doesn't get in. Keep it fun and the Grain Bin stays the best-smelling building on the farm.

Creekside Cellars Winery

Mercer, PA · Est. 1995

Kevin Shaffer was a union ironworker on a shutdown job when a coworker handed him a home-winemaking catalog, and the dandelion wine he started making in his basement turned into a blueberry that won at competitions here and overseas. He spent close to fifteen years doing both jobs before he put the tools down for good, and Creekside Cellars has been a Mercer, Pennsylvania winery ever since.

That is a story we recognize, given that this whole farm started with two families and a barn they could not leave alone. Creekside pours on the Midway every night we are open, right beside the Grain Bin, and the bottles they are known for run sweet and fruit-forward rather than austere, which is exactly what you want in your hand at the bonfire in October.

Helltown has hosted the Grain Bin from the start, pouring a short list of their own drafts every night we are open, and somewhere along the way they agreed to put our name on a can. Eerie Acres Lager is exactly what you would hope for after a lap through the corn: cold, easy, and not asking anything of you.

Half the fun of a night on the Midway is not having to settle on one thing, so alongside the beer and wine at the Grain Bin there's coffee, dirty pop and candy for everybody in the group, kids included. The lineup rotates, so each one below lists the nights it's on the farm.

Krazy 8 Concessions

Krazy 8 brings their teal trailer down from Boyers loaded with dirty pop, which is soda built up with flavored syrups and a splash of cream, along with enough candy to settle whatever the haunt did to your nerves. It is the most colorful cup you can carry to the bonfire, and the one everybody in the group ends up wanting a sip of.

Magnolia is a mobile coffee bar, and on a cold October night a hot cup by the bonfire is often the difference between a group that heads home at nine and one that stays until we close.

The Bonfire

We like to boast that our bonfire is the biggest in town, and nobody local has challenged the claim yet. It burns every open night, all night, the natural basecamp while half your group works up the nerve to buy tickets.

Want your own fire? Private bonfire rings rent for $125 a night and come with a reserved spot away from the crowd, the backbone of our birthday and party setups. Groups of twenty or more with a bonfire get $2 off every haunt ticket.
